1. CUT THE LEAVES OF PLANT
Make sure you cut the leaves of the plant from the bottom because the most of the gel is in between the leaves. But also keep in mind that if the plant is small so handle it with care because you don’t wanna harm the plant.
Cut leaves according to the size of the plant and need of the gel.
2. RINSE THE DARK YELLOWISH PART(RESIN)
When you will cut the leaves you will see a dark yellowish liquid-gel which is called resin. It contains all the toxins for example latex. So it is better clean that part away.
3. PEEL THE PLANT LEAF COVER
If you have peeler at the home so, peel the cover of the leaf from one side. If you will do so you will see be able to see the gel clearly. OR you can also cut the leaf in between.
4. SCOOP OUT ALL THE GEL
With the help of a spoon scoop out all the gel from the leaf and put it in a bowl. Don’t forget to scoop from the corners also, you don’t wanna leave anything.
5. GRIND THE GEL IN THE GRINDER
If you wanna use the gel without grinding you can use as it is. But if you want thin consistency grind it with the help of a machine. You can also little water to it. After grinding the gel, it will create foam stain that with the help of a clean cloth or a stainer.
6. PUT IT IN A CLEAN CONTAINER
The gel will be ready, now take a clean container and fill it with it. Store that in freeze for 1week or maximum 2 weeks. Homemade aloe vera gel is perishable so it is better to use it immediately.
7. OPTIONAL STEP
This is optional if you have vitamin C powder or vitamin E capsules you
can add that to your aloe gel to preserve it for months.
